When you live in a Vegas home, hundreds of breakfast restaurants are available within a few miles of home. In fact, the world-class food is one of the best parts about living in Las Vegas, especially for us foodies. We’ve compiled a list of some of our favorites.
Eat
A list of the best breakfast locations in Vegas would be lacking if Eat wasn’t on the list. Natalie Young, a chef with over 20 years of experience, owns the breakfast and lunch spot. Eat serves up chef-inspired comfort foods and uses locally-sourced and sustainable ingredients. Eat’s atmosphere is industrial with colorful accents and features artistic elements like a mural made from handwriting and art from local talent.
What to order: Cinnamon biscuits, truffle egg sandwich, huevos motulenos, or some “golden brown” pancakes with apple chicken sausage.
Served
Located in Henderson, Served is a local favorite just minutes from Inspirada. Owned by Le Cordon Bleu graduate, Matt Meyer, the menu is inspired by Asian, South American, and European flavors. Chef Meyer has a long history in the Vegas food scene, stretching back to 2006 and including ownership of food trucks and other cafés. The atmosphere is minimalistic and approachable. With a 4.5 star rating on Yelp and more than 500 reviews, it’s a beloved spot.
What to order: Soft shell crab benedict breakfast, crispy baked berry French toast, or corned beef hash and eggs breakfast.
CRAFTKitchen
After working as a chef at multiple Ritz-Cartlon hotels and as the Executive Pastry Chef at both Le Cirque and Circo at the Bellagio and Red Rock Resort, Chef Jaret Blinn’s resume is nothing but impressive. Luckily for us, Blinn and his wife, Tami, opened CRAFTKitchen — a breakfast and lunch spot — mere minutes from the neighborhood. The atmosphere is light, bright, and clean. Plus, there’s a coffee and mimosa bar to enjoy when you wait for your table.
What to order: Short rib hash, smashed avocado toast, monkey bread, smoked salmon on a pretzel roll, or red velvet pancakes.
Kitchen Table
Chef Javier Chavez started Kitchen Table — a restaurant concept inspired by his mom — after years of honing his culinary craft. A graduate of the culinary arts program at the Art Institute in San Antonio and Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, Chef Chavez knows his way around the kitchen. Did we mention he’s worked under Wolfgang Puck and landed his first executive chef position at the age of 25? Expect breakfast classics with French techniques and Latin flavor profiles. The atmosphere is perfect for brunch; it’s approachable with upscale touches like tufted benches and glass stemware at each table.
What to order: Monkey bread (a must), pork belly benedict, Mexican hot chocolate, avocado toast, or a prickly pear mimosa.
Bruxie
Located on the Strip, Bruxie has a short breakfast menu, perfect for when you haven’t had your morning coffee quite yet. The restaurant is an order-at-the-counter concept with some tables available to sit. The atmosphere is relaxed. Choose from three breakfast sandwiches that include eggs, your choice of meat, cheddar, and mayo sandwiched between waffles.
What to order: two words. Waffle. Sandwich.
The Stove
New to Henderson, but already fast becoming a Las Vegas breakfast staple, is The Stove. The Stove is owned by Chef Antonio Nunez, celebrity Chef Scott Commings — winner of season 12 of “Hell’s Kitchen” —, and general contractor, Steve Grodkiewicz.
This isn’t your average breakfast spot. With rooms titled the “Twisted Tea Room” and the “Coffee Chill Room,” plus design touches like a living green wall, mismatched china, and gold leaf tables, the atmosphere alone creates a unique experience. Plus, the perfect Instagram photo. Throw in delicious food and we have a winner.
What to order: Pecan pie pancakes, suckling pig benedict, or unicorn hot chocolate.
Zenaida’s Cafe
With a five-star rating and more than 300 reviews on Yelp, Zenaida’s Café is obviously a beloved restaurant. Their menu features “American comfort with Chef Sterling’s twist.” While they’re open for both breakfast and lunch, locals especially love their breakfast. The atmosphere is a relaxed, neighborhood-café vibe.
What to order: Tremaine’s biscuits and gravy, tofu scramble, one of their daily-made cinnamon rolls, or avocado toast.
Egg & I
If you’re looking for a laid-back breakfast spot serving up delicious classics, try Egg & I. It’s the sort of spot you can “come as you are.” They specialize in breakfast and they do it well.
What to order: Check-in on Yelp for a free banana nut muffin to share with the table, order the stuffed French toast, the “works,” prime rib benny, or veggie hash.
Eggslut
Hailing from Los Angeles after its massive success, Eggslut — yes, that’s the real name — has some seriously delicious food for such a comical name. The spot is an order-at-the-counter concept located in The Cosmopolitan. Expect to wait in line. This restaurant has reached a cult status in the foodie world, so it’s worth the line, at least once. Arrive when they open — at 7 a.m. — for the shortest line.
What to order: The slut — a coddled egg on top of a potato purée and served with baguette slices —, the Fairfax sandwich, or the gaucho.
No matter what type of breakfast or brunch spot you’re looking for, you’ll find a top-notch spot just miles from your Vegas home. Of course, there’s nothing like getting breakfast in the neighborhood at Jolly Beans Cafe — find it on the map.
