One of four builders that are spearheading the next phase of growth at Inspirada, KB Home is one of the largest and most recognized homebuilding companies in the country.
Established in 1957, KB Home has built more than a half-million quality homes and has been constructing homes and amenities in Inspirada since the community’s inception in 2007. Homebuyers Andrew Hunt and Corey Mayes, who invested in the Inspirada vision when it was first introduced, are now looking forward to the new parks and features that are being built today and planned for the future, thanks to the collaboration and partnership of Beazer Homes, KB Home, Pardee Homes and Toll Brothers.
A customer service leader in its industry, KB Home is celebrated for its Built to OrderTM concept that allows buyers to create the home they desire from a range of options offered in the KB Home Design Studio.
“We offer choice,” said Robert McGibney, president of KB Home’s Las Vegas Division. “Our business model is about offering our buyers the floor plan, the lot, the home and the elevation they want. Then we offer them the ability to select every detail of the house, so they can make it exactly what they want.”
Committed to building some of the most energy-efficient new homes in the country, KB Home was recently awarded a 2013 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year Sustained Excellence Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. It is the only builder to receive this award for three years in a row for its continued leadership in protecting the environment through superior state-of-the-art sustainable building practices. It has built more than 80,000 ENERGY STAR® certified homes since 2000 and builds all of its new homes to the ENERGY STAR® program’s Version 3 guidelines at no added cost to its homebuyers.
In Inspirada, KB Home’s Las Vegas Division sees an opportunity to create a visionary community with a unique character that will not only complement Henderson’s commitment to fostering active lifestyles, but also set a standard for master planned communities nationwide.
“There are a lot of master plans where people are just selling the house. We want to have that too, nice architecture and a mix of a lot of different home styles. But we wanted to offer something more,” McGibney said. “We wanted to offer a community-feel where people can get out and interact with each other. We give them a forum to do that with all of the amenities that we have.”
