Aventura Park Opens With Giant Community Celebration!

The biggest party Inspirada has ever thrown kicked off Saturday, May 30, with live music, new home models, and beautiful, clear skies. Residents and visitors came together to celebrate the opening of Aventura Park with their family, friends and furry pets.

About 4,000 guests visited Aventura Park to test the grass, play carnival games, interact with UNLV and Liberty High School athletes, win contests, and jam out to live music courtesy of Beach Boys tribute band, Woodie and the Longboards.

The opening ceremony began with The Henderson Symphony Orchestra and the Myron Heaton Chorale performing. Henderson Mayer Andy Hafen, Councilwoman Debra March, UNLV football coach Tony Sanchez and Pardee Homes’ Division President, Klif Andrews lead the festivities.

Aventura Park is the fourth park at Inspirada, giving the community more parks per resident than any other community in the state. There’s also new resident-only heated lap and play pools, bringing the total Inspirada pool count to six!

Summer vacation was in full swing as children played tug of war, tossed water balloons, and won medals and stuffed animals for hula hooping and voracious watermelon eating. Kids packed the new play area and splash pad, cooling off in style.

Food and refreshments were complimentary thanks to the builders, and guests enjoyed Famous Dave’s Legendary Pit Bar-B-Que, Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, Oso Ono Shaved Ice, The Funnel Cake Café, Rollin Smoke Barbeque, Stripchezze, and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.

Guests were able to visit 24 new and diverse home models offered by KB Home, Pardee Homes, and Toll Brothers. Visitors also got a “hard hat” tour of the new Beazer Homes models under construction.
The sport fields came alive with demos and clinics all day. UNLV brought their Rebels Football and Lady Rebels Soccer teams, Paseo Verde Little League of Henderson kicked up some dust at the two new ball fields and Liberty High School athletes came out to test the basketball and volleyball courts for themselves.

The one-day free event was all about bringing people into the Inspirada community and truly living inspired. With so many parks and amenities only a few steps from modern, new homes, it’s no wonder Inspirada is named first in the Vegas Seven’s Hot Las Vegas Neighborhoods.
