4th of July - Little Girl & Flag
The City of Henderson 4th of July Celebration features live music, entertainment and fireworks! Admission is complimentary at Mission Hills Park.

School is finally out so we have handpicked five family-friendly events that are 100% free! Grab the kiddos and friends, and enjoy your Henderson community.

2015 Summer Reading Challenge

Any excuse to stay inside and cool off is a good one, but reading a new book is by far one of the best indoor activities there is. Join any of the Henderson libraries (Gibson Library, Green Valley Library and the Paseo Verde Library) to join in on the 2015 Summer Reading Challenge! This is for all ages from toddlers to adults. Find a new book to dive into and earn prizes or drawing entries just for reading! Register online and choose your age bracket.

Henderson Parks & Trails Tour

Take a 2.5-hour bus tour highlighting current and upcoming parks and trails in Henderson. Registration is required and space is limited. Register online using activity code 643051-59, or at any recreation center or pool.

The city of Henderson is celebrating the nation’s 239th birthday with a huge party! Grab a blanket and your closest loved ones to enjoy a spectacular fireworks display, live music courtesy of the Randy Anderson Band, and food sold by local high school clubs to benefit their schools. Don’t forget to deck yourself out in red, white and blue for the occasion!
