A beloved Henderson tradition continues, and this year it’s at Inspirada! On November 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the City of Henderson will temporarily close Via Firenze within Inspirada for the annual Stroll ‘n Roll. This car-free outdoor fair encourages attendees to hit the streets on bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, strollers, or simply on foot.
Lace up your walking shoes and see for yourself big wheel races, human hamster balls, bounce houses, food trucks and concessions, and live music and entertainment at this outdoor extravaganza. Stroll the parks lined with vendors, and participate in demonstrations and clinics centered around healthy living and fitness. Kids can also look forward to arts and crafts, Mad Science, and kite flying.
Set against the beautiful backdrop of Nevada’s mountain ranges, Inspirada’s Capriola, Potenza, and Aventura parks are ready for play along the route. Inspirada’s parks offer extraordinary amenities including splash pads, dog parks, a skate area, volleyball courts, shaded playgrounds, picnic areas, and multi-use sports fields and courts. Bring your basketball, soccer ball, or join in on the fun with volleyball clinics!
The Rockin’ Art of Sloan Canyon contest winning art will be on display near the Inspirada tent. The contest is sponsored by Inspirada, Friends of Sloan Canyon, a non-profit focused on the preservation of the canyon, and the City of Henderson. Submissions include artwork and photography from all ages that depict the beauty of Sloan Canyon. Enter your work today for a chance to win—time is running short!
Stroll n Roll is a free event that all ages are sure to enjoy. What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon? We’ll see you November 14!
