2017 in Review and What’s to Come in 2018

As one year ends and we make our way into the next, it’s natural to reflect on the last year and envision the upcoming year. For us at Inspirada, 2017 was a season of growth in more ways than one: our community, our homes, and our town. But, the best is yet to come! Let’s take a walk down memory lane and remember 2017, and talk about some exciting, new developments in our Las Vegas community.

2017 in Review

Pinecrest Academy Inspirada, a tuition-free public school, expanded their campus in August. The Las Vegas Review recently named our neighborhood school the Best of Las Vegas in 2017.

On Oct. 23, Fire Station 91 had its grand opening. This state-of-the-art station is over 11,000 square feet. Our builders donated the 3.42-acre site and put $6.6 million toward the cost of construction and equipment. The opening was monumental in more ways than one: it is the first fire station built in Henderson in over 15 years and also the first in Inspirada.

Fresh52’s Farmers’ Markets continued at Solista Park throughout 2017. We enjoyed a myriad of events, like cooking demonstrations, live music, face painting, photos with Santa, and even blood and donation drives. Inspirada and Henderson residents loved this market so much, it was named one of the Best of Las Vegas in 2017 by the Las Vegas Review Journal.

The Inspirada Community Association brought neighbors together by offering free story-telling time, food truck events, blood drives, new resident meet-ups, community feedback discussions, and festive events, including the Halloween event — a partnership between the City of Henderson — that included a volleyball tournament, food, and activities.

In 2017, we had over 800 new families move to Inspirada! To all of our new neighbors: Welcome, we’re so glad you’re here!

Thank you to everyone that made this community so vibrant and welcoming in 2017, we couldn’t have done it without you!

2018: What’s to Come

Robert and Sandy Ellis Elementary School, a Clark County School District school, is slotted to open in August 2018, at the corner of Beltrada Avenue and Via Italia.

Capiola Park is growing! Phase II is scheduled to be completed by August of 2018.

The connection to Las Vegas Boulevard will be completed early this year.

The next phase of home development, the Western Villages, has begun! These new homes are located just west of Via Inspirada and are expected to start selling during the second quarter of 2018.

Upon completion, the Future Western Villages Development will include:

  • 14.8 acres of parks, trails, open space and trailheads
  • 66.73 acres of natural, open space
  • 21 acres of commercial park space
  • Sites for three new schools — two elementary schools and one middle school!**

Pardee Homes has introduced a new collection of homes, Linea. These gorgeous houses start at the low $300Ks and include three exterior elevations: Desert Contemporary, Modern Spanish, and Nevada Living. Houses in the Linea collection are already available for purchase. All five of our award-winning builders are actively selling throughout 2018, with some builders releasing brand new collections later this year – stay tuned for more info!

Our Las Vegas community has new developments in the works! We’d love for you to join us. View available homes, contact our builders, or simply join us in the park!
