Cardboard Boat Regatta

Looking for a way to cool off and have some fun? Challenge your skills at the Cardboard Boat Regatta as you design, build and navigate boats made entirely of corrugated cardboard and duct tape.
The regatta is open to participation from families, businesses, schools, youth groups, groups of friends, and non-profit organizations desiring to build a boat and participate.
Awards will be given for the following:
“The Allure of the Seas” – Best Looking
“The Staten Island Ferry” – Carrying the Most People
“The World Is not Enough” – World’s Fastest Yacht
“The Titanic” – Best Sinking Ship
“The Queen Elizabeth” – Best All Around
Races begin at 4:30 p.m. Open swim is from noon to 4:30 p.m. during boat check-in.
