The Inspirada Social Science Book Club (ISSBC) invites you to join their August meeting. The topic for the month is the American Healthcare System. They will be reading and discussing “The Price We Pay: What Broke American Healthcare — And How To Fix It”  by Marty Makary, MD. A professional healthcare advocate and former healthcare administrator will be at the meeting to share her experience and expertise on the topic. If you work in healthcare, they would love to hear your perspective from “inside” the system.

Please note that you are welcome to attend the meeting even if you do not read the book. They use the book as a basis for discussion questions but structure the meetings to include anyone who hasn’t read the book.
