Moapa Valley National Wildlife Refuge

Explore your wild side and experience a part of Clark County you haven’t seen before. The Moapa Valley National Wildlife Refuge is a 116-acre secure habitat that is home to the endangered Moapa dace, a small fish.
Learn about the refuge during a short walk, followed by a volunteer project and time at the visitor’s center.
Don’t forget to pack a lunch! Children ages 8-17 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. We’ll depart at 8 a.m. from the Downtown Recreation Center.
