Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge

Located 90 miles north of Las Vegas, the Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge offers nearly 4,000 acres of lush wetlands, which provides habitats for thousands of migratory birds, deer reptiles, and rare fish. Enjoy a guided hike and time for birding, followed by a short volunteer project and time at the visitor’s center.
Don’t forget to bring a sack lunch. We will depart from the Downtown Recreation Center at 6 a.m. Children ages 8-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
