Porch Comedy: The Front Porch Tour

Description: Get ready for a whole lot of funny on the porch! This comedy show features 3 national headliners with decades of stage experience along with national television and radio appearances. The Front Porch Tour is a clean comedy show, so bring Grammy with you-but get a sitter for the little ones so you can enjoy an evening of laughter on the porch!

Maher Matta:

Maher has been making people laugh since elementary school (and by people he means other 3rd graders). Nevertheless, his comedy won’t disappoint! His comedy revolves around storytelling and is appropriate for the entire family, even your grandpa. He performs at comedy clubs and private events all over the country. He is also a regular at the Arab American Comedy Festival at New York’s Gotham Comedy Club. He also has a Dry Bar Comedy special! Karen Morgan:
Karen Morgan was born and raised in Athens, GA but now calls Maine home. A former trial attorney, she began her professional comedy career as a Finalist on Nickelodeon Television’s “Search for the Funniest Mom in America.” Karen has 2 comedy specials on Dry Bar Comedy: “Rub Some Dirt On It” (2023) and “Go Dawgs!” (2020). Her latest audio album, “Cocktails in Pajamas,” is now available on streaming platforms. Her TV appearances include comedy shows like “Gotham Comedy Live” as well as national TV ads for companies like Wal-Mart and Zyrtec. Karen’s clean shows in Performing Arts Centers around the country have made her a favorite among theater audiences. Still licensed to practice law in Maine and Georgia, Karen’s humor brings laughter to many corporate events and fundraisers for charitable organizations. www.karenmorgan.com
Joe Zimmerman: 
Joe Zimmerman grew up in Morgantown, West Virginia, and started his comedy career in North Carolina. While living in the South, his stand-up group the Beards of Comedy landed a record deal with Comedy Central Records. He moved to New York City in 2012, quickly appearing on The Late Late Show and John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show, as well as performing at Montreal’s prestigious Just for Laughs festival. His resume has since grown to include The Tonight Show, Conan, Nickelodeon, Last Comic Standing, and his own Comedy Central Half Hour. Joe’s solo album Smiling at Wolves reached number two on the iTunes comedy charts and is played regularly on SiriusXM. (His second, Innocence, is due this summer on Comedy Central Records.) He has also contributed humor pieces to The New York Times. Joe’s new podcast, “A Great Listening Experience” details his questionable attempts to attain infinite knowledge and power. Among his many podcast & radio appearances, he has recently appeared on 2 Dope Queens, The Dork Forest, Bob & Tom, The Todd Barry Podcast, and The Artie Lange Show.
