Henderson celebrates Halloween with the Zombie 5K Run around the lake at Cornerstone Park. Runners are encouraged to dress up in Halloween costumes or as members of the undead.

Souvenir T-shirts are guaranteed for the first 100 participants, and runners also receive a medal. The event is open to participants 5 years and up.

Those interested in participating in this year’s Zombie 5K Run may register using activity code 154221-58.

Run packets may be picked up between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on October 15 at Dignity Health, 3001 St. Rose Parkway, Henderson, or from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. the day of the event at the park.

Per-person registration costs are $25 now through September 20, $35 from September 21-October 16 and $40 the day of the run.
