Are you searching for a family-friendly activity to kick off the beginning of the fall season? Inspirada invites the entire family to break out the lederhosen and dirndls for the community’s third annual OktoBEERfest happening on October 4.
Come see Solista Park transformed into a fall festival for everyone to enjoy. The event will feature a biergarten where guests can sample a wide selection of signature hops from local craft brewers. Of course, you’ll need plenty of good eats to pair with your new favorite brews! Several food trucks and restaurateurs will be on-site offering authentic German treats like pretzels, bratwursts, schnitzel, and potato pancakes. Those with a sweet tooth can also indulge in a large assortment of sugary confections like apple strudel.
We can’t forget about the little ones, though! The event will feature a designated children’s play area that will include crafts, face painting, and plenty of lawn games to keep younger festivalgoers busy!
In addition to delicious German fare, guests can enjoy the sounds of the Ken Mathis Band playing classic rock hits from the ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s. You’ll find yourself singing along to some of your favorite songs from the Beatles, The Eagles, Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynrd, and so much more. The Las Vegas Bavarian Dance Group, comprised of The Folk Dancers and the Schuhplattles, will also be showcasing traditional German folk dance. That’s not all, though! There will even be German stilt walkers roaming Solista Park during the festival! Did someone say photo op?
This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Guests will also receive a free commemorative stein with the purchase of beer or an item from any of the food trucks while supplies last.
