New to the Inspirada community? The Inspirada Community Association welcomes new residents at this informal social gathering. A light fare will be provided. RSVP in advance.

Fresh52 Farmers’ Market
9 a.m.-1 p.m. | Solista Pavilion | Free Admission

This open-air market will have over 35 local vendors. Fresh produce, baked goods, and plenty of other unique finds can be purchased.

Resident Craft Market

Held alongside the fresh52’s farmers’ market, the vendors here will sell local handmade artisan wares and jewelry.

Open Swimming Meet
Noon-3 p.m. | Heritage Aquatic Park Complex | $4.50

It’s the City of Henderson’s first ever swim meet! Swimmers between the age of 8-14 can enroll in one of four categories: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Participants should enroll early as spots are limited. Call 701.267.5875.

Mayor March will be taking questions along with other city staff members. An open dialogue is encouraged so community residents can voice their opinions and concerns.

Glow-in-the-Dark Nerf War
5:30-9 p.m. | Valley View Recreation Center | $15

Kids and teens will enjoy this glow-in-the-dark game. Make sure they bring their Nerf gun and wear comfortable attire to this 10,000 square-foot event. Strike darts, dinner, and snacks are provided. Friday event is for those 7-10 years old. Saturday event is for 11-17 years old.

Inspirada Fall Community Garage Sale
7-11 a.m. | Potenza Park | Free Admission

This isn’t your typical garage sale. Opportunity Village will be on site to shred any documents you want to get rid of, while Goodwill of Southern Nevada will have their donation truck there to accept any donations.

Neon Ride at Inspirada
5:30-7:30 p.m. | Aventura Park | Free Admission

Join us for the grand opening of the Las Vegas Blvd connection to Via Inspirada! Bring your bikes, roller-skates, scooters, or anything else on wheels to travel the 8k ride. Get there early for face painting and to decorate your wheels.

Great American Foodie Fest
5-11 p.m. | Sunset Station | $8+

Do you call yourself a foodie? This event brings an assortment of food trucks from all over America straight to Henderson. Some of the vendors have even been featured on Food Network. Items like funnel cakes, corn dogs, and fried ice cream will be served up. Go for one day or for the whole weekend (if your waistband can handle it).
