At Super Saturday on Oct. 4 at Inspirada, join the celebration as we open new Capriola Park and Potenza Park.
The new additions will join Solista Park to form an integrated park system, central to all of the Inspirada neighborhoods. According to Inspirada Landscape Architect Andy Baron, principal of AndersonBaron, the unique nature of the new park system is three-fold.
One, the parks of Inspirada are built in the heart of the community, which means they are a bike ride, Frisbee® throw or short walk from Inspirada’s six newest neighborhoods.
Two, each park has its own distinct features, so you experience a different type of recreation at each.
Three, the range of amenities is so comprehensive that Baron said he has never before designed this much variety into parks so close in proximity.
The largest new addition, Capriola Park will be packed with three tennis courts, two basketball courts, two soccer/multi-use fields, an inviting picnic area, and expansive areas for your favorite dogs. Capriola Park also invites you cool off in a splash pad/water play area, which is connected to a colorful “discovery” play experience.
Combining sound and play, Potenza Park delivers recreation you’ll only find at Inspirada. Ride in a special skate area designed for teens and experience an interactive playground focused on making music through physical movement. Swim in the resident adult and family pools, run on large open spaces and dunk on two new basketball courts.
When designing the parks, Baron took a step back to see what the parks could offer that wasn’t currently in the City of Henderson. He also did not work from another park model, but instead created a custom design for Inspirada.
