What do slime, electricity and dry ice have in common? They’re just a few of the elements residents explore through the interactive Mad Science workshops, as part of Henderson summer fun only at Inspirada.
At the Resident Community Center, parents and children get to learn about the world around them together, following the energetic instruction of a Mad Science professor.
“Few things draw neighbors out of their homes faster than the thought of having fun as a group. We had so much fun with the first Mad Science workshop that we invited the professors back,” said Jennifer Settoon, lifestyle director for the Inspirada Community Association.
On July 29, Inspirada residents learned about Slippery Slime; on August 2, ‘It’s Electric’ workshop explored electrical circuits, conductors, insulators and transistors; and on August 9, it’s all about dry ice and its amazing bubbling potions.
“We try to bring our neighbors together for laughs and learning all year long,” Jennifer said.
