Inspirada recognized as Green Community of the Year
Congratulations to KB Home for taking home four of the most prestigious awards at the 2015 Silver Nugget Awards this past weekend. Recognized by a panel of judges consisting of seasoned professionals in both the real estate and development industries, KB Home has earned the right to a big pat on the back— and Inspirada continues to be recognized as a center for excellence in home and community building!
KB Home’s commitment to building the most advanced homes in energy-efficiency was recognized as they won Green Community of the Year for their homes at Inspirada, and Green Builder of the Year for the second year in a row!
KB Home at Inspirada offers four collections of floorplans— the Greencourts, Reserves, and Terraces, and Enclaves. These collections are both environmentally friendly and affordably priced while adhering to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ENERGY STAR® 3.0 guidelines.
Homes are built with energy and water efficient products and features including enhanced thermal air barrier techniques, which reduce loss of heat or cold with through insulation. Inspirada is a Southern Nevada Water Authority Water Smart community and new KB Home models save as much as 75,000 gallons of water each year compared to homes built a decade ago, according to the Southern Nevada Water Authority.
