Opening Oct. 4th, Inspirada’s Newest Parks
It’s all coming together for new parks at Inspirada! Underground pipes have been laid for the splash pads and pools. Grading is finished for the play areas, and concrete is being poured for the basketball courts.
Inspirada’s new Capriola and Potenza Parks, which are being readied for play and discovery this fall at Super Saturday on Oct. 4, are generating irrepressible excitement.
When Inspirada builders broke ground on the new additions, the possibilities for outdoor fun and fitness filled the air. For Marla and Andy Cormier, who have lived at Inspirada for a little more than a year, the dog parks hold the most appeal.
“They’re another opportunity for us to meet our neighbors. There’s so much going on in our community,” said Marla, proud dog-parent to Peanut and Bailey.
“We just want the momentum to keep going,” said Andy, who browsed new models at First Dibs! on August 2.
Capriola and Potenza Parks will join Solista Park to form a centrally located park system, which will be at the heart of Inspirada. Every Inspirada neighborhood will be within a bike ride or short walk of a park.
Capriola Park will be packed with three tennis courts, two basketball courts, two soccer/multi-use fields, an inviting picnic area, two ramadas and wide, expansive areas just for dogs. For little ones, Capriola Park will have a splash pad/water play area and a colorful “discovery” play experience with plenty of tensile shade.
Potenza Park will ignite your active side with a pool, large open spaces and two basketball courts. Potenza Park also welcomes kids of all ages with an interactive area dedicated to making music through play, plus a special skate element for teenagers.
Inspirada parents are ready for another place to play with their children. From James Gyibara planning to bike with his son, Gavin, to Corey Mayes planning to kick up water in the splash pads with his daughter, Jayson, to Maritza Morales showing her son the new basketball courts, the parks are already being put to good use.
Gyibara summed it up best. “We just can’t wait!”
