9 Places to Stay out of the Sun and Have a Blast This Summer

Unless you’re sitting poolside or running through the sprinklers at the Inspirada community, it can difficult having fun outside in the summer. But, fear not! There are still plenty of ways to have fun this summer, without being outside. Check out these 9 indoor places to visit near your Henderson home:

Sin City Smash is a simple concept. Head to their business, dress in safety gear, and then proceed to smash things to bits. Their packages are made with groups in mind, so go ahead and invite your best friends to join. Visitors say the experience is empowering and therapeutic.

  1. Throw Sharp Objects

Let’s face it; life can be stressful. But then there are places like Axe Monkeys that let you throw sharp objects like axes and ninja stars at bullseyes. If you’re serious at building your skills, you can get instruction from experienced knife throwers.

  1. Get Creative

Get your creativity flowing and head over to Color Me Mine. This studio offers unfinished pottery pieces for you to paint to your heart’s desire. It’s an activity fit for all ages, so it can cure summer boredom for little ones. They also offer some BYOB events for adults.

Just because it’s summer doesn’t mean your child can’t experience some learning opportunities this time of year. Discovery Children’s Museum offers interactive exhibits that inspire and engage visitors. Exhibits include activities like solving mysteries to “building” the new Raiders training facility and learning about their sustainable efforts. Little ones will have plenty to explore during your visit.
