8 Different Experiences to Enjoy the Best Vegas Sunsets

As you know, living in Henderson NV has many perks, one of which is the spectacular light show we have each night. And, we’re not talking about Luxor’s beam. Vegas sunsets are meant to be enjoyed. For those lucky enough to have a Las Vegas home with a pool, that’s probably your go-to spot to enjoy the sunset. For everyone else, we have the 8 best ways to experience a Vegas sunset.

The Quintessentially Vegas One – The Neon Museum
A location filled with colorful lights set against a sky aflame; get ready for a very Vegas sunset at the Neon Museum. This two-acre area includes the “boneyard” with over 200 retired iconic Vegas signs — 11 of which are restored.

The One with Red Rocks — High Point Overlook at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area
While the Vegas skyline offers a striking contrast against a sunset sky, there’s something other-worldly about the grand red rocks at High Point Overlook during sunset. Just make sure you give yourself plenty of time to find a good spot.

The One with Cocktails and Dancing — Stratosphere 107 Lounge
Planning a night out? Kick the festivities off by enjoying a cocktail while gazing out at 360 degrees of Vegas-skyline views at Stratosphere 107 Lounge. The lounge features a daily happy hour, nightly music from DJs, and signature cocktails. Combined with the beauty of the sunset, the excitement will continue all night long.

The One in the Neighborhood — Inspirada Overlook
If you’re an Inspirada resident, there is a spot situated right in the neighborhood to catch a spectacular sunset. The Inspirada Overlook offers skyline and mountain vistas and the convenience cannot be beaten. Now you have zero excuses to enjoy the next sunset.

The Locals Only One — The Mirage’s Parking Garage
As we all know, parking can be expensive and hard to find downtown. But, to get some of the best sunsets, going to one of the high rises often is the answer. Problem solved: the Mirage’s parking garage is free for the first hour. Drive to the top, enjoy the view, and head out without spending a dime.

The One with a Lake — Lake Mead
The tranquility of a lake at sunset is hard to beat. At Lake Mead, something bewitching happens at sunset: you get to enjoy the sunset both painted in the sky and reflected on the water’s surface. While the drive is around 45 minutes, you’ll feel like you just went on a mini-vacation.

The French One — Paris Observation Deck and Eiffel Tower Restaurant
If you’re looking for a romantic spot to share a sunset, the Paris Observation Deck and Eiffel Tower Restaurant are as idyllic as it gets. Plus, it’s a unique experience. Complete the Parisian vibes and grab a treat at Paris Baguette.

The One with The Tallest Ferris Wheel — The High Roller
We’re home to the tallest Ferris wheel in the world. It’s basically a requirement to see a sunset on the High Roller.

Living in Henderson NV, we have plenty of beautiful sunsets to enjoy. Of course, if you’re an owner of a Las Vegas home with a pool, you can always enjoy the view from home. Use our community map to find the neighborhood lookout spot, Inspirada Overlook.
