Going outside is about to get a lot more interesting.
Inspirada is giving its residents two more reasons to love Southern Nevada weather – the new Capriola and Potenza Parks, currently under construction. Both parks, along with the existing Solista Park, tap into growing recreational trends and the personal fitness/fun aspiration of Inspirada residents, an active Henderson community of adults and children.
One of the predicted hot fitness trends of 2014 is outdoor training. So whether fitness is a goal or a well-established habit, for the residents of Inspirada, their parks are the ultimate fresh-air training facilities.
Triathletes, like Inspirada resident Andrew Hunt, take advantage of the well-maintained trails and pools at Solista Park. Situated in the center of this current active Henderson community, Solista Park also has open, multi-use fields and an air-conditioned community center, available now for everything from soccer to yoga.
For those who prefer a quick game of pick-up basketball, new courts are part of the new parks, slated to open this summer. Even the dog can get a work out at a planned dog park, which promises to be a well-used feature of Capriola Park.
According to ActiveNetwork.com, moving children off the couch and onto the fields became a national initiative in 2012 and a big 2013 fitness trend that will continue into this year. At Inspirada, kids like Gavin Gyibara, 8, and Wyatt Haid, 7, who are already into biking and skateboarding, are looking forward to leaving the video games behind at the new skate element feature in Capriola Park.
No matter the activity, Inspirada Parks have an amenity for it. Simply step outside and explore this active Henderson community.
