Homebuyers are choosing their next address based not only on the amenities of their new house but also based on the features of their new neighborhood.
Responding to today’s buyers who are seeking an inspired experience for their long-term, home investment, the builders of Inspirada worked closely with the City of Henderson to build a community that features a new standard in outdoor recreation.
“There are a lot of master plans where people are just selling the house, but we wanted to offer something more,” said Robert McGibney, president of KBHome’s Las Vegas Division. “We wanted to offer a wide selection of customizable new homes, in addition to a community feel, where people can get out and interact with each other. When Inspirada’s new Capriola Park and Potenza Park are ready for play in Summer 2014, they will join the community’s existing Solista Park in making Henderson a more experiential ‘park paradise’ for its residents. Currently, the City of Henderson has 59 neighborhood and community parks, 11 aquatic facilities and eight recreation centers, including two centers for adults 50+.
Inspirada’s builders conceived of its signature parks as being wholly unique additions to Henderson’s dynamic park system, yet still integrated within the city’s master plan for recreation and architecture. Once constructed by Inspirada, the parks will be managed and maintained by Henderson and open to all city residents.
“The city planners have stayed on their original idea of having a community where you get all of the people who live there out and active in the community,” McGibney said. “We’ve continued that vision with Inspirada’s parks through some of the architectural designs and the interconnectedness of the community. Fostering that neighborhood connection has been the vision for the builders and city from day one.”
Capriola Park will be packed with three tennis courts, two basketball courts, two soccer/multi-use fields, an inviting picnic area, two ramadas and wide, expansive areas just for you and your favorite dogs. For your little ones, Capriola Park will have a splash pad/water play area and a colorful “discovery” play experience, where activities are spread throughout various outdoor spaces with plenty of tensile shade.
Potenza Park will ignite your active side with a pool, large open spaces and two basketball courts. Potenza Park also welcomes kids of all ages with a play area focused on engaging physical movement and making music through play, plus a special skate plaza designed for teenagers.
