The holidays are right around the corner, and Inspirada has plenty of festive events cooking up to make this season bright for the whole family. Enjoy a mix of holiday events, special musical performances and “spirited” competitions.
Here is a list of some holiday-themed events to hit Inspirada and Henderson next month.
Winterfest 2023 Tree Lighting Ceremony – November 30
With Thanksgiving behind us, it’s time to get into the full swing of the holidays with Henderson’s annual tree lighting ceremony at Water Street Plaza. After watching the tree light up for the whole city to see, stick around because this year includes a special event. Henderson is hosting its very first drone light show, which promises to light the sky with familiar holiday themes. Best of all, it’s free to attend!
Winterfest 2023 Parade – December 1
Head back down to Water Street, between Victory and Basic, where the Winterfest festivities continue with Henderson’s annual Holiday Parade. The night promises creative holiday floats, carolers, and festive holiday décor. After the parade, we’ll announce the winners with the best floats among a range of categories. The 2023 Parade is also free to attend.
Kalani Pea’s Hawaiian Christmas – December 2
Celebrate the holidays the Hawaiian way with a special performance from Kalani Pe ‘a. Kalani brings his natural gift and unique “Hawaiian contemporary soul”- style to every performance, covering a range of genres from traditional Hawaiian to R&B. This concert will include a mix of both classic holiday tunes and popular Hawaiian music. This is an outdoor performance, and seating is first come, first serve, so make sure to get your tickets fast before they sell out.
Djangobells! Holiday Jazz Experience – December 8
Jean Reinhardt, famously known by his nickname Django, was a Romani-French jazz guitarist and composer popular throughout the 1930s-1950s. Join us at Water Street Amphitheater as jazz groups Tatiana Eva-Maria and the John Jorgenson Quintet perform Django-inspired holiday classics. This special event will be performed outdoors with general admission seating, so make sure to get your tickets while they last.
Reindeer Dash 5K & 1 Mile Walk 2023 – December 16
Calling all runners! Celebrate the holidays by breaking a sweat at the annual Reindeer Dash 5K & 1 Mile Walk. This race will stretch from Cornerstone Park to the Pittman Wash Trail, and runners are encouraged to wear their most festive outfits. Souvenir T-shirts are guaranteed for the first 300 participants, and everyone from seasoned marathoners to amateur “dashers” is encouraged to attend. Register today!
