The Best Spots in the Henderson Community to Grab a Brew

You don’t have to travel far to find the perfect spot for you and your friends to enjoy a brew. Whether you’re looking to try a local beer, play a round of pool, watch the game, or even enjoy vegetarian fare: it’s on the list. Check out our list of 10 best places to grab a beer in the Henderson community and discover your new favorite spot.

CraftHaus
CraftHaus is a locally-owned, top-rated brewery. It was started by a husband-and-wife team, Wyndee and Dave Forrest, after enjoying artisan beer on a trip to Europe. They have an in-house certified cicerone and brewers who are constantly concocting their core beers and seasonal brews.

The taproom has seating with large windows that give you views into the working brewery. They offer cheese and charcuterie plates from The Nook, small snacks, and the occasional food trucks outside..

Suggested Order: Belgard, a coffee stout.

Shakespeare’s Grille & Pub
A British pub in Vegas? Surprisingly it’s like a lime in your Corona or the vinegar to your fish and chips; it works. Enjoy karaoke and trivia nights and TVs playing football, football, and more football — the British and American versions.

Suggested Order: A Boddington’s — a popular British brewery — brew. After all, when in Rome Vegas.

Lovelady Brewing
It’s hard not to love a beer that is served in a glass with a cupid on it. Find 16 taps at the Lovelady Brewery taproom and, of course, great beer. The brewery was created by three local brothers and their life-long friend.

Find a casual environment, oversized Jenga, and a dog- and kid-friendly patio at this South Water Street location. Eat before coming, as it’s mostly beer on the menu — except for some snacks and occasional food “pop-ups” from other businesses.

Suggested Order: Tres Amour, a Belgian abbey ale.

World of Beer
If you’re looking for a place to watch the game and enjoy some beer and eats in a relaxed environment, try World of Beer. Oh yeah, did we mention there are more than 500 beers to choose from? Yes, five-hundred. Enjoy a game of cornhole and oversized Jenga on the dog-friendly patio. The spot offers many specials, a “beerunch,” and stellar happy hour deals.

Suggested Order: With so many beer options, you are on your own. For food, make sure you get some Tavern Tots.

Bad Beat Brewing
Bad Beat Brewing is a locally-owned brewery and taproom located in the Henderson Booze District. They produce year-round, seasonal, small batch, and “dealer’s choice” — a quarterly series — brews. You can find craft beer, guest taps, and hard cider.

The taproom offers weekly events, like trivia and bingo, and games, including giant Jenga, shuffleboard, steel tip darts, and card games. They don’t serve food other than chips, but you’re welcome to bring in your own food, order delivery, or purchase from a food truck when available (check their schedule).

Suggested Order: Hoppy Times, a India pale ale.

Public Works Coffee Bar
Coffee, beer, wine, and tea fan? Why pick just one? Public Works Coffee Bar offers something for everyone. They partner with local vendors for their food and menu offerings, ranging from classic bakery items to a quinoa bowl and chili. They have a dog-friendly patio located on Water Street, so prepare for some great people watching.

Suggested Order: Hard to choose, but they sell some local beers from Joseph James Brewery. Try Weiz Guy, a Hefeweizen.

Remedy’s Tavern
Sometimes, you just don’t mess with a classic. If you’re looking for a bar with all the fixins — pool tables, sports games, a full bar, pub-style food, and lounge area — Remedy’s Tavern has all of that in spades. Speaking of spades — this is Vegas after all — they also have gambling. You can bet your bottom dollar they have a great happy hour too.

Suggested Order: Go classic or go home; we’re talking a Bud, Coors, or Miller.

Served
If you enjoy your beer served with some pretty fantastic and unique-flavoring dishes, go to Served. Self-described as “culture favorites, redefined,” Served serves up — sorry I can’t stop — everything from a bento box to beef stroganoff, and often with surprising flavors added in. And, of course, they also offer beer.

Suggested Order: Come here for the food. Ask your waiter what beer they recommend pairing with your entrée.

Born and Raised
Looking for some of the best wings, bar food, and happy hours in town? Born and Raised is a classic bar infused with Vegas swank. Find big screens playing the “big game,” paired with moody, black walls, and mod touches. It’s where good design and great bar meet.

Suggested Order: Sip on a Stella Artois while watching the game.

Sprocket Bar & Restaurant
For vegetarians and vegans, it can be difficult to find a spot to enjoy a brew and fare. Sprocket Bar & Restaurant is the answer. Omnivores, carnivores, and everyone in between can also find something on the menu. Located inside Whole Foods, the menu changes seasonally.

Suggested Order: The menu changes often, so ask your waiter for recommendations.

Of course, one of the very best places to enjoy a cold one is in your own backyard. If you’re looking for a home in the Henderson community, look no farther than Inspirada. Check out our available homes!
