As a multi-generational family, Nic and his wife were drawn to Inspirada’s generational-smart living. They loved Pardee Homes’ modern/mid-century style and their “GenSmart Suite.”
“It’s like a private home within a home, which suited perfectly for my mother-in-law. It was important to my wife and me to find a home that not only fit us, but it also had a place where she could have a retreat to go to with enough privacy and space of her own,” says Nic.
Nic’s mother-in-law, Gloria, can lounge in her own living area and make a cup of coffee in her beautiful kitchenette without even having to leave her room. He enjoys that they can all live under the same roof and still have their own space when they want it.
Focused on Family
A common theme Nic sees throughout every aspect of Inspirada is the focus on family and sense of community. There are several events throughout the year that cater to every age group. From the annual St. Patricks Day Festival to the fresh52 farmers’ market and so much more, there is always something happening for all ages.
“My family and I have attended several events throughout the year,” says Nic. “It’s hard to choose which one is my favorite, but the one we really cannot miss is WinterFest. There’s nothing like the holidays that brings a family closer together, and better yet, right here in the community!”
Life is Ruff
Inspirada isn’t just for the humans, though! There are plenty of four-legged residents who enjoy the community too.
Lilo, Nic’s 2-year-old French Bulldog, enjoys meandering throughout the numerous parks around Inspirada. Capriola, a short distance from the Miranda household, is her favorite. She enjoys playing with her fur-friends and loves meeting new ones.
Additionally, Lilo also enjoys DogDays, an annual event held within the Inspirada community that caters to the resident’s fur-babies. From agility courses to dog treats and apparel to accessories, there is something for every dog at this event.
A Place to Call Home
For Nic, Inspirada is a place where his family can truly call home.
“As newlyweds, my wife and I found our dream home here. We were two separate families that were brought together in our new home in Inspirada,” says Miranda. “As a family, we enjoy going to several events together, walking in the park, biking on the trails, and even watching my step-son Devin at his soccer practices at Capriola park. Inspirada is a place where you can enjoy numerous activities as a family.”
If you ask Nic what he enjoys most about his home, he would say that it’s the backyard. He and his family love spending time in their pool on hot summer days or grilling on the BBQ. They also enjoy entertaining friends and family.
“Having family and friends over for pool parties in the summer are the best way to unwind, cool down, and enjoy your favorite beverage and food. Not to mention sharing laughs and stories with your favorite people,” says Nic.
