Members of the Henderson community have plenty of exciting events they can attend these next few weeks.
You can get started on (or finish) your holiday shopping at craft markets, shop the neighborhood farmers’ market, participate in a colorful run, spend a Saturday morning cleaning up a beloved hiking trail, and more. With so many fun and interesting events this month, it’s easy to make memories to cherish.
Saturday, November 10
fresh52’s Farmers’ Market
9 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Solista Pavilion | Free Admission
Inspirada’s reoccurring farmers’ market is drawing to a close for the year! Residents only have two more dates left to stock up on fresh, local, and delicious produce. As always, there will be live music and activities for the kids.
City of Henderson: Blood Donation
10 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Black Mountain Recreation Center | Free Admission
Take a moment out of your weekend to save a life. Donating blood is a simple, safe way to make a difference. Use sponsor code “BlackMtn” to registerin advance.
GlowZone
12 p.m. – 3 p.m. | GlowZone | $10
Get to know your fellow Inspirada residents in a whole new light! This residents-only event will take place at GlowZone. Bond over a game of bumper cars or mini golf. Or, challenge yourself with the laser maze or ninja course.

New to the Inspirada community? Join us for this low-key welcome. Staff will be on hand to answer any questions you might have. A light fare and refreshments will be served.

Cosmic Swim
6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. | Henderson Multigenerational Center | $5
This all-ages event gives swimming a unique twist. Music, glow gear, and an array of colors will transform the center’s pool into an otherworldly space. Register in advance!
Saturday, November 17
Color Me Kind 5K
8 a.m. – 10 a.m. | Cornerstone Park | $25+
Spread some color and kindness all around Cornerstone Park. This 5K benefits the Josh Stevens Foundation, which rewards kids for being kind. All participants will get a color packet to spread during the walk. The first 300 to register will receive a free souvenir t-shirt.
Stroll ‘n Roll
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. | Henderson Multigenerational Center | Free Admission
Henderson’s Stroll ‘n Roll event will include the closure of Paseo Verde Parkway so residents can stroll, bike, or skate along the path. The event is a spin on the Ciclovia phenomenon sweeping the nation. Live music, vendors, and demonstrations will be along the route.
Fantastic Swap Meet & Craft Sale
7 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Heritage Park Senior Facility| Free Admission, $20 per booth
Do you have some items you’d like to sell in your home but haven’t gotten to listing them on Craigslist? Or maybe you make handcrafted items you’d like to sell? Whether you want to sell or simply shop, this Henderson event gives you a chance that swap and buy treasures from your neighbors.
If you want to sell, you need to register at least a week in advance. Admission is free; $20 per booth

Celebrate the last Friday of November with some live music, street fares, vendors, and a culinary cook-off on historic Water Street.
Saturday, December 1
Amargosa Trail Maintenance
8 a.m. – 10 a.m. | 180 Shaded Canyon Drive | Free Admission
Help keep Henderson beautiful. Spend your Saturday morning volunteering along with fellow residents to pick up the Amargosa trail. Be sure to bring some sunscreen and gloves and wear comfy clothes.
Pictures with Santa
9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. | Black Mountain Recreation Center | $2
Meet the big man himself! Kids can get their pictures taken with Santa. Parents can either bring their own camera or pay a little extra for a picture package to capture the special moment.
Puppy Pictures with Santa
10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. | Black Mountain Recreation Center | $2
Tell your four-legged friends not to worry; Santa didn’t forget about them! After the kids’ session, Santa will pose with dogs for pictures.
Friday, December 7
WinterFest North Pole Adventures: Tree Lighting Ceremony
6 p.m. – 9 p.m. | Henderson Events Plaza | Free Admission
This two-day festival kicks off with a tree lighting ceremony at six that will get you in the holiday spirit. Following the lightning, there will be fireworks and a festival that runs into the night.
Saturday, December 8
WinterFest North Pole Adventures: Festival and Evening Light Parade
12 p.m. – 7 p.m. | Henderson Events Plaza | Free Admission
Part two of Friday’s event begins at noon. Bake cookies in Mrs. Claus’ bakery, mail a letter to Santa, and much more! Stick around for the dazzling Evening Light Parade on Water Street.
The Holiday Village at Inspirada
9 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Solista Pavilion | Free Admission
Don’t miss the last farmers’ market of the year! Dig into some delicious food from local food trucks, while kids get a picture with Santa (and Princess Elsa and Olaf!) or play in the two bouncy houses on site. There will be performances by Pinecrest Academy Choir, Liberty High School Electric Strings Orchestra, and Inspirada school children.
Resident Craft Market
9 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Solista Park | Free Admission
Have you started your holiday shopping yet? Cross some names off your list at the resident craft market. Shop items that are unique and hand-crafted — they will make the perfect gift. This market will be a part of the Holiday Village at Inspirada event.
