Welcome to Inspirada, Henderson’s growing community of neighbors who live inspired.
As Inspirada takes flight with new homes, parks, events and residents, we decided our new logo needed to reflect that same sense of activation, movement and optimism. Looking to nature, we sought a symbol that was always in motion, thriving off the natural beauty and resources of Southern Nevada, and indicative of forward progress. The hummingbird was the natural choice.
Words like spirited, lively and industrious come to mind when one sees the little, colorful bird whose wings move so quickly that they seem to blur. Hummingbirds are attracted to environments rich with flowering plants, and at least five of the 20 species migrate into Southern Nevada with two species making the region their year-round home.
Not to mention that when you see a hummingbird, it seems to inspire a moment of awe, or at least a “wow, that’s cool.”
In the upcoming months, look for the Inspirada hummingbird to be an ongoing companion. It may show up with uplifting music, words of wisdom or news of what’s next, but our little bird will always be around to enchant, amaze, and yes, inspire.
