If you prefer to drink your dessert, Sticks and Shakes in the Galleria Mall is the place for you. Truly living up to their name, this Henderson dessert spot offers every type of milkshake imaginable — super shakes, freeze shakes, fruit shakes, boba shakes, cheesecake shakes, ice shakes, coffee shakes, and more. These ice cream concoctions are made from traditional Italian soft-serve gelato and sorbet, and they often come with an elaborate overflow of toppings like Oreos, cotton candy, fruit and chocolate bars. 

But where does the “Sticks” part of the name come in? They also serve freshly baked cheesecake on a stick, as well as warm churros and hot donuts. Eat your sweets while you shop at this one-of-a-kind dessert destination. 

Chef Fleming’s Bake Shop

Chef Fleming moved from Denmark to America in hopes that his culinary creations would leave an international legacy. He got his start baking for high-end hotels and teaching budding pastry chefs at the Art Institute of Las Vegas. Later in life, he desired to serve a more local demographic and opened Chef Fleming’s Bake Shop alongside his family in 2008.  

Today, they create authentic Danish cakes, cookies and specialty desserts, including cream puffs, tiramisu, moon pies, cannolis and tarts. Everything is made from scratch daily, and the sense of community is evident as soon as you walk in the door.

Fans of Cinnabon, prepare yourselves for an even more elevated cinnamon roll experience from Cinnaholic. You can build your own gourmet roll by choosing from 20 frostings, 25 toppings and other delicious add-ins to craft the perfect combination for your taste. They even have signature options to help inspire your creation, as well as bite-sized “Baby Buns” if you’re looking for a smaller snack. 

The bakery also offers coffee and sweets like brownies, cookies and edible cookie dough. And if you’re aindecisive sugar-lover, they’ll even let you stack a scoop of cookie dough on top of your cinnamon roll.
 

Miss Panda

Miss Panda serves up Asian-inspired desserts that you wouldn’t find on most bakery menus. Their mille crepes, or crepes stacked on top of each other to resemble a cake, come in unexpected flavors like matcha, rose and durian. 

Miss Panda’s mousse dessert cakes are hand-crafted in the shape of all your favorite animals, from shar-pei puppies, to bunnies, to baby seals. You’ll be blown away by the artistry that goes into making these treats look realistic, as they’re almost too cute to eat.

Nielsen’s Frozen Custard

Nielsen’s Frozen Custard is a family-owned Las Vegas classic, serving up homemade custard to the community for over 30 years. Their delicious ice cream is made without any artificial sweeteners or preservatives and is served at exactly 26 degrees to “allow the human tongue to detect more taste than with regular ice cream,” they claim. Their secret frozen custard recipe also contains less fat and calories than traditional ice cream. Nielsen’s is also known for their concretes, or extra-thick milkshakes with toppings mixed in. 

Humboldt Sweets 

Last, but certainly not least, Humboldt Sweets believes in baking the old-fashioned way — and the constant line out the door proves their made-from-scratch methods pay off. Their bakers start work before sunrise each day, hand-crafting cakes, eclairs, chocolates, cookies, scones, and their signature caramel pecan cinnamon rolls.  

It’s ranked as the third-best restaurant in Las Vegas on Yelp and was even featured on Food Network’s Diner’s Drive-Ins and Dives. Stop by this Guy Fieri-approved bakery for a handmade treat paired with an espresso or mimosa!
